Refugee Support Association (MUDEM),
The Refugee Support Association (MUDEM) was established in Ankara in 2014 to carry out activities in the country and abroad to address the problems of forcibly displaced persons.
MUDEM, which has been providing social and legal support for asylum seekers to access rights and services since the day it was founded, providing psycho-social support and organizing various activities for the establishment of harmony, continues its activities with its centers in many different parts of our country and its representation abroad in Dublin, Ireland.
MUDEM aims to develop empathy and dialogue between the refugee and the host community by creating social cohesion within the community. It aims to create a safe and favorable living space for vulnerable groups.
MUDEM works with all refugee groups regardless of language, religion, gender, race, sexual orientation or political opinion.
MUDEM continues its activities with lawyers, protection specialists, translators, psychologists, health trainers, social workers, field workers, compliance specialists, disability specialists, mobile field teams. With its expert teams, MUDEM works to facilitate the access of asylum seekers to rights and services by collaborating with local authorities and other non-governmental organizations.
MUDEM also organizes activities such as meetings and conferences, conducts research studies and supports studies in the field in order to increase social awareness regarding refugees and to strengthen cooperation and communication between non-governmental organizations and public institutions operating in this field.
